It’s Not a Nine to Five World, Anymore

It happened, Sunday, January 20th at 10:32 AM – and again Wednesday, February 13th at 7:45 PM, and then again today, Tuesday, March 12th at 6:27 AM! And we’re thrilled!!

Our new website designed, by the folks at IMPACT Marketing, is fabulous, and the days and times above are times OUTSIDE of our normal business hours when we have received inquiries through our website – clearly, it’s working. Of course, we get leads frequently DURING business hours, but we made a special effort to capture and reply to inquiries coming in after hours, and so far, every month we have had at least one after hours contact that has turned into business for us.

We don’t live in a 9 to 5 world anymore – it’s 24/7 – with good reason. Our work days are full of interruptions. Between phone calls, social media, e-mail and face-to-face (or skyped) meetings, we hardly have time to think. And when we do want information – chances are we’re going to play phone tag or exchange e-mail until we forget why we reached out in the first place!

Our experiment to have people on call to respond quickly to those inquiries has paid off! NEW BUSINESS doesn’t come cheap – but why waste the dollars we’re spending to make the phone ring if we AREN’T GOING TO ANSWER IT??

Our business IS an answering service, so it was easy for us to have our agents transfer potential clients to an on-call sales rep. But it’s almost as easy for ANY business to have us take their after hours calls and pass that interested person on to someone who can give them personal attention immediately. Heck, give us the right information and we can get the sales process started for you, and set a time for your sales rep to call them back. We don’t do lead generation – but we can help capture leads! Easy Peasy, and one good lead can pay for our service all year! All the rest of those leads can drop right to the bottom line.
